Although her friends and family called her Ceil for short, all of her life Gram Cork was of the understanding that her given name was Cecilia Kottig. Sometime after her death in 1984, a visit to the archives at St. Rose Church by her son Eugene turned up a copy of her original baptismal certificate. Contrary to what she had been told since she could remember, the document stated that her given name at birth was Wihelmina Francesca Cecilia Kottig. This came as a total surprise to her entire family.
